Looks more like the latter to me...

"Wise and Newcastle have apparently been brought together by Tony Jimenez, a property developer and friend of both Ashley and Kemsley, who is developing a relationship as a facilitator of deals and was involved in Juande Ramos's managerial move from Sevilla to Spurs." - The Grauniad.

Kick off in 2 minutes. I'll be sporting and only wish for an entertaining match.

I'm surprised that people in the pubs of the Cotswolds should be so well informed.

So the story so far is........

Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle
Middlesbrough 1-0 Wigan
Sunderland 1-0 Birmingham

I think the Wise man is two not enough. No wonder Keegan's not happy if it's jobs for the boys. Bet he wishes he hadn't took the job now.

As the table will stand if the scores remain the same, Boro will be 2 points and Sunderland will be 4 points behind Newcastle.

Togo failed to qualify for the ACN. We're not complaining.

I always thought of England as more of a spoilt child who wants to take their ball home when they don't get picked first.

Final scores.
Arsenal 3-0 Newcastle
Middlesbrough 1-0 Wigan
Sunderland 2-0 Birmingham

Yet another case of Deja Vu for Toon Town, as Newcastle end another game under their new manager without scoring. If they aren't careful, they could soon be the lowest placed North-East team at the end of the season. :p

Deja Vu = Same Sh*t, different day.

Good news from Africa...if Benin and Cote d'Ivoire draw their last group match, Nigeria will be out and we can get Obafemi back early-doors. So far he hasn't been crocked.

After the heady delights of the last two games in Lahndun, we have the Smoggies at St. James' on Feb 3rd. Shirley we can score a goal at the right end against them?
