Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
Yer, what can I say, Sunderland played their hearts out and we rolled over like a dead dog.
Sunderland only lost at home 3 times this season, that's not a bad record for such a "poor" team. And Christ we miss Glen Johnson... Campbell was getting owned by Jones every time. Muntari too..... and Diop..... Utaka I can live without personally. Pretty worried about this month in general!!!! :-S Shinkansen |

And in late breaking news, Didier Deschamps sneaks up on the rail to take the over the favourite's spot at the bookies.
Ged has said "non", apparently. |

Why would we want to?
I can see Keegan going back to be honest. Second chance to make it all better and all that. And no other bugger seems all that interested in NUFC. or Keegan for that matter, so its win win. If they were any better than Blackburn I could see Hughes looking at it as a stepping stone on the way to succeeding Alex Ferguson, but they aren't, so it wont happen. If they wait for the end of the year they might yet get Rafa:( |

I'm a geordie lass living down south, (its the wife here!) The toon just need a miracle, we've got Sheff Utd again and we really should have had a manger for that. The should have left Big Sam for another week at least until this match is out of the way. Long live Shearer but i reckon we're going to pushed to get a "decent" manager to touch us with a barge pole with our track record.

Actually, I think we've got a good shot at the FA Cup this year. Just Stoke and then Arsenal to get through and we're already in the fifth round.
<thanks, could you pass that bogie over here again mate> |
