I'd suggest that as you're asking the question that it wasn't the ManUre player

You'd be right to suggest that. Great refereeing.

Who could it have been?

I believe that is what happened but of course Alex Ferguson never mentioned that in his tirade. As a die hard red, I find it hard to listen to anything he says with any belief.

Drogba seemed to have been behaving himself this season but he was definately nowhere near the ball there and looking to "accidently" take Evans out in the air. I think Evans must have been watching a Cantona video the night before.

It still looks to me the Evans was going up for the ball, saw he wasn't going to get it but bthat Drogba was coming in, and deliberately put his leg out. (As much as it pains me to defend Drogba)

You can only just see it in the clip but Evans does actually head the ball. I think he sees Drogba following through late and sticks his leg out unnecessarily on the way down.

Dogba is actually doing well this season - top points scorer in my fantasy team. On his day he's unplayable but for someone with the build of a heavyweight boxer he's remarkably "fragile" at times!

Thanks. I had to slow the clip down to see it.

What about Liverpool's David N'Gog diving to win their penalty last night? Liverpool would have lost without it.

Even I have to admit that was very naughty.

Some Liverpool 'fans' have said that if that's what it takes to win points then it's acceptable to them, even encouraging players to dive.

Of course, if it had been a Birmingham player diving, they'd have been saying he should be banned.

Yeah, I agree CH, like every football fan would.
