Oooo. Trout !

We can't get that here unless we buy a license & catch one from somewhere or other.

I flippin' well love trout.

I'm back to the kippers. We didn't have them due to husband getting fed burgers and pizza and anything else to hand out by the bush fire with civil defence.

That looks good - very healthy! I'd like to see it arranged around some fried oysters or chicken, but that would probably defeat the purpose. Avocado is the new steak, I suppose.

That looks similar to my salads, lol.. except I quite often have either a wholly veggie beet burger cut up or some shrimp (prawns in reality).. and some quinoa or couscous added to it... and only black or white beans, never red ones lol - oh and about half that amount of avocado and perhaps some dried cranberries instead of the blueberries... and maybe spring mix rather than just spinach ... so not really too much like yours, rofl!

A bit like how some veggie burgers are not bad...providing one has some meat with them.

"Just add eggs"...wasn't bad but I think I'd rather have had spuds with it.

love curry, but can’t fancy egg curry at all. But then I can’t get my head around cheese with Indian food. Perhaps this reluctance to embrace any form of change is why I am completely bored to tears with everything I usually cook

I made a curry tonight, it was so good.. I even broke the guideline and added a pinch or two of salt.. and had basmati rice instead of brown rice for the first time in a year.. (rebellious mood, lol).

I had Greek salad then baked bbq chicken and rice. Not sure what's in store for tonight, but it's almost sure to involve the burger I thawed out.

Slow cooked corned beef, potatoes, cauliflower with parley sauce, and cabbage. It was yum.

I think it's going to be the rest of the Greek salad and some frying-pan chili and toast.
