Sunday's roast pork leftovers made sandwiches for a couple of lunches this week and today I made a magnificent curry with it while the mother in law also used some to make a fried rice.

I had one of these:

On sale at Giant Tiger for $3.33 or $10/3, I may go back for more. It was pretty good and comes with a couple of spice packets so you can make it to taste. All the way from Oregon!

Naffer. I had a lentil and vegetable curry with quinoa. It was actually very tasty as I loaded it up with lots of fresh chillies s, dried chilies and chilli powder.

A Cuban sandwich. Ish.

I didn't realise it wasn't supposed to be cold cut style pork until I checked some versions of it, but I wasn't able to get any anyway at the store in this morning's rush job before the snow. I bought sliced turkey instead, to go with the ham.

Mustard, a couple of slices of dill pickle, ham, turkey and Swiss cheese. Toasted in the Panini grill.

Not bad but I didn't like the pickle. They're nice enough in a cold meat and salad sarnie, so maybe I just don't like them in something hot.

Next time, the proper pork and maybe the mustard/mayo/cayenne secret sauce I saw on a recipe.

But a smaller sandwich. It was really filling.

Greek salad, pizza, and 2 beer.
I haven't seen Cuban bread anywhere around here but sometimes use sub buns. There are a few things at the Independent bakery that might be nice.

I'm thinking Youngs kippers. I found two packets lurking in a supermarket freezer among the 'things that are considered odd' section.

Cauliflower cheese (Swiss), actifried carrots and spud wedges, chicken burger for two, fish for one and veggie(beet)burger for the other.

I have my mojo back on the sauce having lost it in the cauliflower cheese calamity of 2008.
