That's totally incoherent. I expect no less from you,

Sorry, but you're not very bright.

No points for a personal attack even if he's wrong, everyone (within reason) is entitled to an opinion.

War breeds war.

"War breeds War" totally agree and equally important "prosperity breeds peace and tolerance"

"As always the future lies in the education of the children" and there we have a serious problem as some of the terrorists were educated or even born in the west.

Prosperity definitely doesn't equal peace and tolerance.

I really don't know what to make of this
Syrian refugee coordinator in Montreal to make $1,800 a day to welcome the newcomers to Canada
Syrian refugee coordinator in Montreal to make $1,800 a day to welcome the newcomers to Canada

The city will pay Dorais up to $110,000 over a three-month period. His appointment and his salary was approved by the executive committee on Wednesday, even though the appointment is retroactive to Nov. 19. The salary was justified partly because it includes vacation pay and a compensation for not being part of the city’s pension plan.

I guess there is a price to helping these refugees destined to land in Montreal over the coming weeks.

All public servants are over paid in this country. It's why the place has gone to the dogs.

Once they rebuild Syria they'll head back and many of us will go with them. For the children.

Well you could put it another way. Poverty and Economic crisis's often led to wars and conflicts or the rise of dictators.

So true especially when you include their gold plated pensions.

Public servants cover a wide variety of workers. Are you lumping them all together now with their gold plated pensions?

Prosperity makes people greedy and desperate to hold on to their wealth. Look at how the wealthy nations are falling over themselves NOT to help. List of countries by GDP ..... U.S. No 1, U.K. No 5, Canada 11th......... Turkey who is 18th has given the most monetary aid to refugees, has taken in 2 million refugees and spent 4.5 billion with some estimates up to 6.5million and built some impressive camps.

It's a truism that those who have the least to give often give the most.
