Some reason someone decided to go and set Masonic halls on fire this morning, 2 in North Vancouver area and 1 in Vancouver, people saw him setting the one in Vancouver and called police, and the man was arrested not long after the 3rd fire. (assumption being it was the same person, seems too much of a coincidence not to be the same person or some sort of planned thing with others.)

42 year old man arrested, and police charging him with arson.
One of the buildings in North Vancouver, was very old, dating back to the early 1900s so a historic loss as well.
The other N. Van one was in Lynn Valley, where the stabbings happened last Saturday, so a double tragedy for them.

dealing with the government is so frustrating sometimes, ffs employees handling disability issues should be trained to fully understand their policies and procedures and give correct answers. The ministry that handles disability never seems to know what they are doing, at least the people giving out the information on the phone, so frustrating.
If only they would go back to people being assigned specific workers so you can talk to the same person each time but nope, just random people on the phone who may or may not give you correct information which then delays things by a week because 3 different phone agents gave the incorrect information so the issue that needs to be resolved is now 2 weeks in and nothing has been done because incorrect information was given to us by 3 different phone agents.
So frustrating.

I would love to do that with the ministry, but they haven't reached that level of technology yet... I am sure its on purpose for there isn't a paper trail, easier to deal with poor people by blaming them which is what the ministry often does even if you do everything their workers say, but nope its always your fault never their fault.
