Same where we lived in the US. Not becoming to the neighborhood to hang washing out.

Surrey also bans saltwater aquariums, well not the aquariums themselves but they ban saltwater fish.

I imagine its the city's attempt to keep yards clean and nice looking as said above.

wow - sounds like a totalitarian statement from the cities.

at least I’ve been told I can have a portable clothes rail outside on the deck as long as it’s not permanently left there

Even the appetizers have gotten infiltrated, good thing we can easily stomp out these appetizers....

Hydrox or Oreo which one was the original?
Spoiler:
While Oreo is a well known cookie today, it was at the time of its creation the knock off. Oreo's were created and introduced in 1912, where Hydrox cookies were introduced in 1908. While Oreo sales are still strong and sold worldwide, Hydrox cookies were largely discontinued in 1999, but then in 2015 another company started making them again.

There has recently been a bit of a cookie war between Leaf Brands who makes Hydrox and Mondelez International who is the current owner and maker of Oreos. Mondelez International was accused by Leaf Brands in 2018 of having Mondelez International representatives going into grocery stores to hide Hydrox cookies from consumers.

Some Honda CRV's don't seem to be capable of handling Canadian winters, at least in areas where it drops below -10

Tis true. BC geography isn't exactly helpful when it comes to expanding.

I was shocked when I first discovered how little of BC's massive coastline is actually accessible, let alone habitable.

Me too, and I still have to explain to American's at times why they can't just drive straight up the coast to Alaska, I never paid any attention to a map of BC before living here, in fact other than knowing Vancouver was a city, I knew nothing else about BC, Canada was never even on my radar of places to ever visit.

Lol. Well, it used to be quite the sleepy place back in the day.
