On this date in 1994, John Candy died.

He was just such a funny guy and actor, loved his movies.

And Moncton is one of the so called affordable city's.

You should see how high prices can jump in places like BC and ON.

There was a time in Vancouver where flippers would buy a house, and by the time the sale closed prices went up enough to flip it back onto the market and make a profit without doing any work on the house and turn a tidy profit.

These kinds of jumps in prices is one of the reasons its hard to buy. By the time people have built a down payment the prices have risen and locked them out of the market.

This house averaged a gain of 20,000 a year from its last sold price vs its current listing price.

Probably a fixer upper a bit?

Always nice to see people who manage to turn their hobby into what appears to be money making ventures.

Thought I’d stick my head around the door and wave “hello” .

Nice to see some familiar names, nice to see that not a lot has changed .

Interesting article, Lethbridge Police not looking good in it though.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calga...lips-1.5932495

Back in 2017, when Phillips was Alberta's environment minister, Lethbridge police officers took surreptitious photographs of her at a diner and posted them anonymously on the internet. But Phillips believed there was additional evidence she was being watched.

If all goes to schedule, in 6 years Vancouver should have a new hospital, construction apparently started today on the new St. Paul's, when completed the current St. Paul's will close.
