Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
seems the most logical for long term. More options south of the border as well for school, jobs, and being able to maybe own a home, where in Canada we are not likely ever to be able to especially with the new mortgage stress rules and the US has a variety of programs that can assist one to get into a home and really its just healthcare which is the biggie however I think its manageable as my siblings seem to do better then we do on similar income.
I've also missed out on the past 14 years of my family which has been harder then I let on. My nephew just turned 18 and graduated high school, he was 4 when I came to Canada.
And my wife is always wanting to live in the US so she is all for it...lol....Only family she sees in Canada is her mom, her brother makes little contact and no interest in a relationship so not much keeping her here either.

This is Coco. She came to visit for a week. She is very sweet but when she wakes you up at 5:00am solely to go outside in the rain to look for other dogs bottoms to sniff, the hospitality wears a little thin.

Our dog is weird, she sleeps in, and doesn't like other dogs so never wants to go find any. She has some grass on the patio and spends most of her day out there this time of year.

Shes cute. With a face like that you can’t be annoyed at her...even at 5am!

Thank you all. I will be with him as he passes, it's the least I can do. He has been an amazing friend and I couldn't have had a better dog. Not looking forward to tomorrow at all.

Having had to go through it, those last few moments are very precious - he'll know you are with him, loving him til the end. I told my little one to go to sleep and stroked her head.. and bawled my eyes out.
My thoughts will be with you..
Big hugs xx
