So your agent has internal contacts in DIAC. I would suggest such things can be beleived only when DIAC releases its new MODL/CSL list in October end so hope something positive happens there for you

Guys July 2009 people would be the first ones to be processed for the year july 2009 to june 2010, will that make any big difference. There will be a change in the amount of visas that will be allocated in this year hope they dont start phasing out CSL begining from us

DIAC is currently in the process of reviewing the MODL and the public consultation closes next month. The Director of the Review advised me that they are expecting to provide the final recommendations to the Minister in December.

Based on that advice, it is reasonable to assume that any changes to the MODL that arise as a result of the Review will be implemented early next year.

DIAC has already advised that the CSL will be discontinued as a result of the Review, but hasn't given a specific timeframe. Again, it would be realistic to expect that will also occur early next year, as long as DIAC doesn't change its policy without warning, as it did this week on GSM processing priorities.

Hi Friends,

I applied in 175,CSL. HR Country. No SS. I applied on 28 July 2009. In my online status, today i found that the status changed to 'Application being further processed' on 16.09.09.

I am confused why the status changed to 'Application being further processed' so quickly. What does this status mean? After how many days a case officer will be allocated?

I am a Mechanical Engineer.
Any one have idea, please share.

No one seems to know for sure, except the mods, who say "It means your application is being processed further "

All I can say is lots of CSL's got that message around that time, inc me............... ---------------- v ------------------

Question: How many of us who have got the status "Application being processed further" are on CSL?

I am.


Just wanna check whether this has happened to CSL guys or non-CSL guys as well.

I have also heard they might remove CSL this month ...

I will keep posting updates from my end.

Lots have the status, including me, not sure if any none CSL have changed to this lately.

Do you have a reputable source for the CSL story, there are a lot of rumors out there, but official the modl review document suggests it would be sensible to make any changes to MODL/CSL "during the first half of next year".

Interestingly there where no rumors of what actally happened with the priority changes last week, the best thing is just to hang in there.
