I see.. its really a unique coincidence.

I have applied online but have not done my medical and PC yet as still waiting for CO to assign.

Hopefully it will be assigned in new few months.

All right guys: I got email titled "Initial Request Letter" and I guess CO has been assigned. I got this email couple of days ago - just checked my mail box.

It has two forms attached:

Request for Information
Form 80 personal particulars for character


Will post updates as soon as something happens.

Hi

We got the skills assessment confirmation from ACS on 13th July and lodged our visa application on 17th July. We got State Sponsorship approval on 30th July and got allocated a case worker on 14th October - so now doing medicals, Form 80's and our Statutory Declaration of Relationship, since we have been together for six years but aren't married. It's all happening quicker than I thought!!
