Modi has been denied a visa under Human Rights abuses in Gujarat and is still under a ban to visit the USA, even for medical treatment and that is still in force as i write....The Americans criticised UK for inviting him.Dont know about Australia inviting him although with the Australians stance on immigration and especially from Muslims, they have a lot in common to speak about.Remember the old cartoon from The Guardians Tom Bell.Picture Modi as a washing powder. Modi good for Hindus keeps Muslims down ! short ar*ed Gujarati Hitler

The USA immigration and Tom Bell are entitled to their opinions; were any of them there at the time ??
Speaking of Human Rights, you didn't comment on the anti-Sikh riots/ genocide, 8,000 deaths, ignored by Rajiv Gandhi/Congress see link above.

Surely the question of importance now, is which Party governs the country after the next election. Do you really want the corrupt Congress Party/Gandhi dynasty to continue? Have you read about Prianka's husband Robert Vadra and the 'millions' he has made out of nothing. Just one of many scandals.

The burning of the train at Ghodra which killed so Karsevaks was an accident started by some one in the train who was trying to cook a meal using a kerosine pressure stove. Muslims had nothing to do with it at all. Two enquiries exonerated them but it was just what Modi was looking for....A motive to teach the under performing Muslims a lesson by giving the police and the hard line Hindus the nod. What occurred though was mass looting by the middle classes in Gujarat during the confusion of the riots.Modi is no idiot so there is nothing in writing to put to him but he was responsible because he was and is still at the top-The Chief Minister .The RSS have instructed the BJP to give Modi a clean run at the Premiership of India thinking they can achieve their impossible dream of a right wing Hindu prime minister. There are roughly 190 million Muslims in India and they will not tolerate him in office. As for the Sikh riots cases are still dragging their way through the courts and by the way its got nothing to do with Congress but the Indian legal system that has allowed adjournments and more adjournments.Witnesses have died or have simply disappeared. It was only 2 years ago that one was sentenced to death. The Sikh riots were a natural reaction to the death of a prime minister. The Godrah train burning was an accident that provided the trigger to elevate Modi to where he wanted to be at the top of the BJP pecking order. Modi is a calculating extremist who dreams of Hindutva and re-writing history to exclude the glories of Mughal India and The Raj.He is RSS to the bone and most of them are little fat inbred arm chair warriors who go about dressed like Hilter Youth in shorts and polished brown shoes.Lice on the body politic of India.Grow up Bipat Modi is a monster who if he ever got into power would isolate India internationally and create the ideal conditions of a Naxalite like Muslim reaction.PS...one of the reasons why Hindu right hate the British is they were the ones who elevated Hindus into positions of power after the debacle of 1857.In fact you could say The Congress Party is a British creation.

8,000 Sikh deaths a "natural reaction " to the death of a Prime Minister ?????
Nothing to do with Congress?? Have you read details about it?
We certainly have friends now elderly who were there at the time and because they were 'well off' they could come to UK, even now reduced to tears at the memories of friends and family lost. People tried to get at least one member of their family out of the area or abroad so that the family could carry on.

You seem to have a great deal of personal knowledge about Mr Modi PJ, perhaps you should have given evidence to the Supreme Court and changed their rulings.!!!! Why did they not call you???

RSS in shorts and polished shoes? I think you are living in the past PJ.

I don't profess to have your personal knowledge of Mr Modi, (I have never met him), as I have said I would prefer that Sushma Swaraj was declared the BJP candidate from what I have seen and heard of her. But do any of us really know.

In view of your immense knowledge what is your view on the next election result ?

You dont like the truth Bipat do you and as usual, just like the BJP, you selectively edit anything out you dont like to respond to.The Sikh riots were not politically directed but a reaction to a popular Prime Minister being assassinated by her Sikh bodyguards. The word is spontaneous, not premeditated like The Ghodra Riots were and directed by that Gujarati sewer rat Modi.My prediction for the next election in the worlds largest democracy? It wont be Modi anyway the BJP might be brainless at times but i dont think they are that stupid to place someone in office with the baggage he is carrying. What will decide the next election, you have to turn to Dear Old Bill Clinton for that...Its the economy ,stupid.....the price of onions and bread will decide it. The Indian economic miracle is grinding to halt because money is gushing out of India because the international markets have no faith in investing in a market that is so volatile, venal and down right greedy about filling its own pocket at the expense of the investors.

I didn't say the riots were politically motivated PJ, I said they were "ignored", and that the Congress party officials provided information as to where Sikhs could be found and therefore killed.
As I said I know Sikh people who were actually there, are you saying you know better than them?
As I said before about Mr Modi, why did the Supreme Court not believe you PJ? when you gave evidence there ???
I don't know why I am arguing with you about the BJP my personal politics are left of centre, I have always been an admirer of Shirley Williams and therefore a Social Democrat when they existed!!!!!!!:D

Now, who is in a "strop"?

The obvious question is, if it is so awful WHY did you try to live there? Why so much fuss to get a visa etc ??

hemingway Aug 19th 2013 7:58 am

Not about strops tants or paddies

Actually about something from the "news" allegedly. . . . . . . .

Absolutely brilliant (NOT!) & completely priceless (career suicide in the West?) from Chief Minister Parrikar:

Projecting me as Hitler is a compliment says Parrikar!

Agreed, :goodpost:

FDI only moves in and out of the markets for a quick buck in an advantageously volatile stock market. The daily movements on the indices can be regularly astounding.

FDI wanting to be in India for the long term - whereby infrastructure, growth and equality of opportunity for the mass population might become a reality - remains justifiably cautious standing at the sidelines of investment while India perpetuates a stagnant debate regards open economy versus protectionist economy, and everything else is confusion and uncertainty.

Even NRI's and PIO's are reluctant to invest in a nation where rule of law is based on money power and judicial whim/influence, retrospective legislation and reinterpretation of taxation law is commonplace, and corruption is at the heart of all transaction.

A truer word was never spoken as the CM lets slip his true ajenda for Goa.
Subjugate the Christians, marginalize the large Hindu majority and play up to the Shiv Sena Nazis.
It is really quite a tragi/comedy how Cameron and Labour are falling over themselves in inviting the architecht of the Muslim massacre to the UK.
Morals fly out the window when the possibility of making a few bucks presents itself to the government. Talk about selling ones souls for the filthy lucre, a different spin on 30 pieces of silver!!
Churchill (not Alemao!) must be turning in his grave.
