yeh. Russians who have employed my maid for 3 mornings a week for the past 5 yrs and had her there all day last Sunday(hadnt told her all day) cleaning their new Kindergarten and didn`t give her water or food ...she went again later in the week and they told her not to come back anymore cos they had found some one else!! Not even a thank you or a gift or anything...she is so hurt ...not a nice thing to do to someone who has been faithful and put themself out for their employer!

Its just not full...Goan tourism is like the Kings New Clothes..everyone says how lovely it looks but noone dare say there is nothing to see. Morjim was full of Russians last night but there was only 12 people in the beach shack where we went and eight of those was us!! Noise, fireworks but more staff than customers! Now all we have to do is decide shall we go to Sunburn Windsong Reggae or Fort Aguada..

Child bitten by stray dogs on Candolim beach

PANAJI: A child was bitten by a pack of stray dogs on the Candolim beach on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at about 8.35am when a domestic worker, who was walking on the Candolim beach along with her 9-year-old son, was attacked by a pack of stray dogs.

actually reported in Heraldo on 24th - nice of them to point out it was only a domestic worker, not anyone who mattered!

In the same paper it was reported that the local animal welfare charities PAWS and PETA had thrown a party for some pigs they had rescued from the abattoir!!!!!

Hate the packs of stray dogs....IAR should cull them-not just neuter and return them.

Have you noticed that the beach dogs, even new shack puppies, go for "Brown" faces not white ones.

read and agree with your comments, India is run by a bunch of little dictators that can not see beyond their own noses, or is it their pockets, perhaps they are not receiving enough in bribes to stop them messing up.
However, at present I am still receiving texts from Idea every time I switch my Indian phone on so I asassumet is still working ok, I will see what happens when I arrive in Goa on New Years Day.
