Re: In To-day's Newspapers

John Kelly stayed near to us and was known to lots of people who lived nearby and from bars around Calangute and we often ask if anyone has heard anything about his case and where are the waiters from Club City at this moment?
Another sweeping under the carpet case

Re: In To-day's Newspapers

Here are a few possible reasons for this silence

(from an "official" Goan viewpoint, of course)

1) he didn't die, he's just living "somewhere else"
2) he beat himself to death, so its not our problem anyway
3) he is doing his 2 months out of India and has forgotten to come back
4) he should not have been out alone at that time of day , so was asking for trouble
5) the police are still looking into the matter, until handing over to CBI, who will
6) still be looking into the matter for another 5 years
7) he was a drug dealer who comitted suicide as there are no drugs in Goa for him to deal in
8) he's a secret illegal property owner who has bricked himself in to avoid confiscation
9) according to Shri Ravi (pain-in-the) Naik, he didnt exist in the first place and was created by the media to defame Goa
10) he's a foreigner, so who cares anyway?

Front page of Navhind Times today 10/01/10.

"PANAJI: The All-India Congress Committee secretary in-charge of party elections in the state, Mr D N Sharma has said that his party would prevent the entry of criminals in its fold, even as he said that the Goa pradesh Congress committee could initiate action against any person with criminal background."

Yippee that means that the whole lot of them will be ousted

This is disgusting (Freedom of speech) bull sh!t what the hell would they do to us if we came on the street with banners stating Christianity will rule the world?

Re: In To-day's Newspapers

So, this is British justice. Once again the establishment have proven they`re out of touch with the people. The maximum sentence should have been given. `Freedom go to hell.` That`s exactly what will happen under sharia. And people on this site still defend their right to spout their shit. Shame on you. These pigs have overstepped what can be called free speach. Of course the magistrate showed her colours on day one of the trial. One of the pigs has a Brit surname, looks fit, army age, but obviously converted to (SNIP). The magistrate should have given a thought or two to the parents of the troops, dead and alive, instead of her own version of free speach.
The good part of this episode is, people have now seen islam in it`s true colours. In time of war some civil liberties are suspended. That time is now for anti Brits. Pigs, every last one.

Regards,
Davie.
