Yep, back to *normal* and online all day, hurrah! Cant actually find my office at the moment, covered as it is in boxes and bits of equipment. Cleared a little path to my chair and puter and that's it. But then I have 11 months to sort it all out, so I'm in no hurry!
I actually saw my boss minutes after my accident (I had been on my way to our closing lunch at the time). No sympathy and no way I was going to get the day off work, so here I am! I muttered expletives to myself at the time and blatantly ordered a taxi on account to get me home.

Last time I got knocked off my bike it was by a bus, so I feel I'm making progress.
It's an occupational hazard in Cambridge where everyone cycles. Everyone, that is, but Z3 drivers and buses, clearly.

has anyone else noticed you cant put many smilies on your post these days? when i replied to Dons volvo post, i could only put 2 smilies on it.............

Yesterday was my first 'big' bike trip here. Haven't discoverd all the big paths here yet(there are some), so sometimes I was on a busy road, quite scary, not used to it, and I don't trust those cars!

Don't remember seeing any bikes around on the roads when I was there last year. But it is possible and there are even some bike paths?! At least that's what I understand from your post. Will have a think about it again.

Where are you heading to? There are cycle paths around - Canberra is full of them (but not a lot else
)I used to cycle a lot when I was living in Nundle, but then it was on dirt roads with absolutely no traffic whatsoever.
