Made it to Melbourne and back in one piece - now just have to wait and see how it went
Managed to sleep on the way back, but now everything aches - nice hot bath should do the trick

All good in the NB household just now. Hit rock bottom a couple of weeks ago with the teenager of the house but as Yazz would say 'the only way is up' and suffice to say she got the shock that was needed.
We currently have 2 electronic babies in the house as part of the Year 10 Caring for Others course. It's very funny to see my Katie trying to be Mum, the stork deffo isn't visiting her anytime soon ha ha. Instead of the 'good morning Mum' I got 'get this piece of shit out of my room' whilst dangling poor Pablo by the arm. Will have a grin on my face all day!

Had a great day yesterday.... Well over 100 Palace fans at the Dickens last night which was probably the largest overseas contingent of Palace fans watching the final, Thanks to the well organised group we have here in Melbourne.
Sore throat, sore head, night off work, and a parking fine of 141 bucks for parking at the station overnight.... All worth it though.
We all realise it will be a pretty misereable season next year... been there and done that too many times now, more than any other club.... and not like these other provincial supporters who go along to watch their favourite team come to town... we actually support our local club.... So do up the ground...get stronger... piss off the big 4 to europe and then become the strongest team in the country when the playing field is back to even, and the stupid money buying success is gone and the supporters actually dictate the terms rather than overseas interests.
Back off my soap box now. No Foreign take overs for us thanks
