Again, nuance ain't yer bag, I guess.

I suppose that if you haven't yet figured it out after 300+ posts and numerous explanations that you aren't likely to figure it out with yet another explanation, are you?

I quite agree! The Yanks didn't enter till 1917 and 1941.

I usually retort "If it wasn't for the British, you would all be speaking Spanish":thumbsup:

We will never surrender.....Winston Churchill.

Fastest way to make the Americans annoyed.....hang up a Union Jack and set fire to that stripey tablecloth of a rag they call stars and stripes

I don't think that would annoy anybody. I bet you could burn our flag while standing on a street corner in downtown Conroe and nobody would give it a second glance. Please try it and report back with the results. :)

Does medical insurance normally cover a room with an internet connection then?

Nevermind all that "nuance" bullshit. You've made 2 different statements here in 2 seperate posts. Earlier in the thread you claimed that Vietnam was NOT a loss but here you are calling it that very word?

Are you on medication?

Try to reply without hiding behind the word "nuance".

Im sadly begining to think that Americans love to "hide behind words". I often have a hard time getting a straight answer from them!

Am I missing the joke, that this is some elaborate pisstake that you've orchestrated deliberately to make yourself looking dimmer than a broken lightbulb?

I realize that it takes all kinds to make an Internet, but I find it hard to believe that you seem to actually be proud of carting around a black-and-white simplistic worldview that you mistake for thought.

I think that I've covered ad nauseum that is possible to achieve military gains but suffer political losses simultaneously, and that blowing stuff up in a grandiose fashion does not always lead to a political win, despite what the right-wingers may claim. Unless you become able to illustrate some ability to actually comprehend the argument, I won't be bothered to explain it again.

Don't panic ..I never expected a straight answer as to why you contradicted YOURSELF.

Win or lose - that's pretty black and white.

"Good news, sir. We're winning the defeat!"
