I agree. We have not been before either. Townsville did appeal but having looked a bit more, it does seem rather industrial. We live in a village at the mo, so don't think I will like it! Cairns is the current favourite but will also need to see where I am offered a job!

The job offer would probably be the deciding factor on where we live, but both places seem to be crying out for civil engineers so it could go either way!!When are you going to Oz?

Who knows! We don't have our visa yet plus house not yet on market. Would like to go this summer (JUly/Aug) but will have to see. Am starting to worry as eldest son is 14 & in yr 9.He is choosing his options & not sure really how he will take to the Oz system!
