The ginger twat is as intolerable as ever, the yank is a complete plank, the filming is lacking and the challenges are just plain terrible.
As a motoring show, it's not even close and as "The NEW Top Gear", not a prayer.
The whole thing should be put out to pasture.

I didn't think it was that bad. Le Blanc was pretty wooden, Evans was clearly confined by the already tired formula and if you hated him before then you weren't going to start liking him now. Even with the other presenters it would have been a forgettable episode. Usually it takes a while for people to find their feet, but given the animosity between the hosts it might be dead before that anyway. Clarkson's Top Gear had already run its course, better he left when he did than as the head of a sinking ship.

New Blood, the second case has started and it's as amusing as the first one. Quite a good drama this

It was OK...just OK IMO. I thought it was a bit implausible that someone from the Special Fraud Squad would divulge info of a case to a copper. Plus the 2 main characters seem very juvenile.

Yes, not very plausible and it is silly, but I think it's part of the charm of not being overly serious but with some serious moments thrown in.

I'm still struggling occasionally with my VPN provider, how are you guys still managing to watch UK TV on a regular basis? Thankfully netflix is starting to have some more UK TV. Just finished Peaky Blinders which appears to be a Netflix/BBC production.

My VPN works fine. Also for live stuff, Mediahhh app and chromecast to the tele. Though the live footie has recently been blocked from the app.

I would agree VPN is slow. My provider was good up until recently. I had the option of DNS and VPN, but recently the service lasts for a while and then gets blocked by BBC and Netflix. ITV and Channel4 don't seem to have the same issues. The provider does update the ip addresses fairly quickly.

Yes it is, but it's perfectly adequate for streaming online feeds.
DNS, is just more flexible for when you aren't just streaming.
Then again, my VPN was $50 for a lifetime use for up to 6 devices at any one time so I can't knock it, but I'd probably go DNS if I were looking again.

I dunno Bob...
UKIvpn and Tunnelbear both give me anything from 1 - 10Mbps (on my 100meg connection).
My DNS service runs at my local connection speed, or not far off it.

Yeah, so DNS is great for downloading and all that stuff...but the VPN, is still perfectly adequate for online streaming.
It won't hold up for 4K, but even HD stuff it does alright. I don't seem to be losing quite as much bandwidth though.
