Luther.

Anyone catch it?

Got it lined up for later viewing.

Also watching Capital and rather enjoying it after a couple episodes. Anyone read the book?

Yay...Luther is back!! Haven't watched it yet.

I enjoyed Capital but the last episode was disappointing IMO.

Watched it last night. First class as usual. Very unusual storyline.

I am imagining a British remake, that seems to have a resurrected Fletch showing his tats off to Godber.

So any holiday specials you lot have seen?

The kids loved "Stick Man", which is another Julia Donaldson story, same style as The Gruffalo. They got the book for Christmas and it's a cute story.

Charlie Brooker's year end swipe was good.

Not seen Sherlock yet, but have it lined up.

Never got around to watching this series of Downton, so haven't seen the special but sounded interesting.

Luther, was weird but I enjoyed it, but only 2 episodes?

Seems like quite a lot of shows are coming back too, so could be interesting.

Sherlock Holmes....little disappointed by this. It was okay, but seemed a bit of a cop out with the fluttering back and forth and predictability of things. Meh.

"Then there was none", Agatha Christie, mystery 3 parter. 10 people end up on a island and start dying off. It's a bit more omph to it than your average Poirot and rather good this. Quite cold.

Edit: Endeavour, third series started today too.

Any one catch War and Peace?

Just saw the first episode and was rather bored by it, bit like the book really. Though there were a few amusing lines and the battle scenes were pretty cool. Might be worth a punt.

Father Brown, back for another series. This is a fun, cheesy show.

Could never watch Sherlock Holmes, the modern day version. IMO Holmes belongs strictly to the days of Hanson cabs, top hats and foggy gas lit alleys.

Are the people who create series for TV so pitifully bereft of imagination that they have to resurrect characters from the Victorian era when it comes to a series about a detective duo

At least The Avengers had some originality

All Charlie Brooker's wipe's are must see's. Can't beat a bit of Philomeana Cunk and Barry Shitpeas.

Back for a new series...very good still, with a bunch of new characters. Very depressing though.

Agreed - I was also a little surprised to see an actress from this season's 'The Good Wife'
