Nice pics - I am picking up another group of Rifle-Droppers, at O'Hare on Sunday Afternoon. I will be there from 1:30pm till about 3:15pm, taking pics from the Des Plaines Oasis. Hopefully, there will be something interesting to see.

All I managed to take were this two Cargolux 747s. Everything else that took off, banked off away from me.

Cargolux going to LUX? I saw loads of 'em at LUX when I was there briefly in January this year while onboard Atlas Air's B747-4F waiting to come back to HSV.

Wow, so that's what it looks like from the outside. My smallish plane landing in Hannover a few weeks ago danced about like that before landing and everyone was petrified, but when we touched down, it was steady on all wheels and I felt like giving the pilot a hug. Well done :D

Looks like some fairly routine landings :p

Interesting story on the recent Charter Jet Crash, that killed the Mexican Singer, Jenni Rivera.

Jim.

It surprises me that anyone wouldn't do routine checks before booking a charter - after all would you get on a far eastern airline Ilyushin that was built in the 60s?

I was there for this, it was pretty incredible. Stil I guess an empty airliner flying on fumes is capable of far more than one fully loaded.
