Re: Planespotting
Do you know what airline that 744 was? Looks like Lufthansa from the small part of the tail you can see, then again it could equally (or more likely) have been United....
Great shots again :) The last time I was in the US I was travelling on the MARTA through Atlanta back to Hartsfield-Jackson. We must have come across a red light or something because we stopped right at the end of runway 09L as a Delta A330 came screaming overhead on short final. I remember thinking I hope we've actually broken down and will be here for awhile :p |
Re: Planespotting
Yes - It was a Lufthansa.
At a Hotel right at the end of Minneapolis St Paul Airport right now. Let's see what tomorrow morning brings. Jim. |

Watch out for our ATR going into MSP from DLH (arrives 8:50pm) or leaves MSP at 6:25am...you do like early mornings right? ;)
I will have been up for at least an hour at that point. Edit: Have to drop the group off at 07:15 (7:15am for the Yanks). Jim. |

Is that two shots of the same 744, or is Boston served by two BA flights a day?

Bastard indeed. Were you on public property at the time? If so, photographers' rights would protect you.

Re: Planespotting
Did anyone see the reports of an Syrian A320 take a collision with a heli a couple of days back? Destroyed most of the vertical stabilizer - I'm surprised it stayed in the air...

Flew from "Orlando-Sanford" to Moline, IL, yesterday on an Allegiant Air, MD 80. I'd just returned a Coach to a Dealer in Winter Garden, FL.
Not a bad flight, overall, but plenty of noisy kids, with it being an Orlando Flight. Took this obscured pic of a Thomas Cook Airbus, as it was pulling back off the Gate, bound for Manchester, UK. TC, Monarch and Thomson serve Sanford, from the UK. Jim. |
