When I was driving through New Hampshire a couple of days ago, my Coach was buzzed by 2 US Air Force C17s, at around 500ft.

Too busy driving to reach for my camera, but, here's some more captures from Logan.

Today's offerings from Des Plaines Oasis, near Chicago O'Hare.

The 747 is an Asiana Cargo, which banked to the left instead of the right (Bollocks).

Nice to see a DC-10 in operation, even if as a freighter.

Please don't tell me that's an MD-11 with no winglets, though, I'd hate to have got that one wrong

Technically it's a MD-10 which was a freighter version of the DC-10. Confused yet?

I have to take the kids to the Viewing Park at Manchester Airport every year when we go back to the UK. They were really excited to see this land ....

By all accounts, Manchester seems to be a great airport for spotting. I've seen loads of really good videos made there of the comings and goings of various airlines.

Manchester is very good. There's a pub garden at the end of the runway that is brilliant for shooting. That said, kids sometimes get annoyed when adults with tripods are standing at the top of their miniature fort :p
