Not an issue I have to deal with...but I was rather surprised when the lady in VS whipped out her tape and measured my wife on the shop floor and over her clothes, how the heck do they imagine they can get an accurate measurement with the current bad fitting bra still in place????

A mere scattering of pine needles chokes my lawn, but when I rake up said needles and heap them 4"-6" think on the beds, grass still grows through. :frown:

Try adding a few more inches :D

They are supposed to work as a natural mulch though but in our yard, under the pines they fall from, weeds still grow though them. We ended up burning a shit ton of them over the weekend just to get rid of them.

Litter.

Now it's been getting nice I have been running and walking, depending on distance, in town and along the bike path that leads to some trails 3-4 miles out of town.

The Forest Preserve does a nice job of maintaining the trails and keeping them nice but the litter along the sidewalks in town and along the bike path, which runs between the main road and the main rail line in/out of the town centre is a bloody disgrace.

Between the path and the tracks is a small wetland area that is home to about a billion red winged blackbirds, among other species, and eventually it leads to a residential area with lots of nicely maintained yards. Standard fare. Except that the views are ruined by empty beer cans, fag packets and food wrappers either dropped by peasants or thrown out of car windows by peasants. They should bring back the stocks for that kind of thing.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of London when I was there in December. Even the underground was very clean.

I wish Belfast had followed their lead. Looked like a bit of dump when I was there 2 years ago :(

My wife has the uncanny ability to remove a tissue from the box without leaving another tissue poking out of the top, so i have to dig in while holding back a dripping nose.
