Don't get me started about the bagging person putting my groceries on the kid's seat. You know the place where the kids with dirty nappies sit. :frown: Not complaining about the kids...just don't want my shopping in there.

We had someone change their kids nappy on the table next to ours in a restaurant once.

Also, a friend was telling me that he had a mother "rinse" her kid off in the pool at the water park after it had an assplosion in its pants.

I'm never quite sure of the etiquette of eating at a friends house when I see their cat jumping up on the kitchen work surfaces after having used the litter tray. I'm pretty sure they haven't trained it to wash it's paws afterwards.

I like cats, just don't like eating cat shit.

It's my fault for going where other people might be really. It never ends well.

Actually I've never had a problem at my local AJs fine foods but then again it is very upscale place. It makes marks and spencers look ghetto. It wouldnt surprise me if the checkout staff have bagging degrees.

You dont even empty your own cart the checkout person does it. And its one of those places that still bags using the old style brown paper bags. The bagger offers the customer a choice of paper or plastic before he/she starts packing.

While standing in the checkout line i like to look at the people in front of me and try and guess what each person would choose, paper or plastic.

I'd settle for ones with a modest amount of common sense!

My favorite shopping experience was over 30 years ago in Ohio. They loaded up your groceries in containers on a conveyor belt and you drove up, popped the trunk and in went the bags.

I do that too, they then rearrange it on that end bit so they can put the bread and eggs in between the gallon of milk and laundry detergent, because heavy things will stop them jiggling about :/

Anyway, peeve of the day, traffic lights...well just one in particular. They have a habit of turning red as I get to them, but this one, 5 out of 6 times through it yesterday it turned red as I got to it. Four of those times, I was the only car there, in a 3 way junction.

How shit are these lights. Meh.

Why do some people feel the need to have broad daylight in the 50 feet in front of their car in the middle of the night. What is it that they need to illuminate like the surface of the sun in order to avoid? I wish the police would actually crack down on these illegal car light bulbs.

Unless you are talking about "main beam" lights, (which standard fitments, not illegal bulbs) I have no idea what you are referring to. Or do you have some sort of lights/ bulbs that we don't have on the east coast.

I'm with you on that one. Drives me bloody nuts, especially when they position themselves so one of their lights is shining right in my wingmirror. Dingleberries to a man, the lot of them ...

Maybe he's talking about high-intensity discharge headlamps (xenon) which are about 2-3 times as bright as halogens.
