Re: Pet Peeves?
Trucks that park on the side of the motorway....well when they do it besides a exit/entry way.
I know they're "clocking" off to get around the driving limit, whatever...but can't you park a bit further down past the entrance, so I can see if there's anyone coming or not as I enter the motorway. Also, where the missus works, at the junction, there's a stop sign on the side road so you can merge in, but 9 out of 10 people don't stop at the sign. So many close calls. There's a side street near there too, which has stop signs at every T junction, which is dumb, it's not a busy road at all, so silly those on the main road side have to stop every few yards. Glad I don't have to travel down that road very often. |

People who smoke in their cars but hold their cigarette out the window all the time so that whoever is driving behind them (and it always seems to be me) get to inhale their smoke ...
Obviously it is particularly bad in slow moving or stationary traffic but even driving at speed on the freeway behind someone who is doing this is really irritating :frown: |

Crumbs in the butter, or butter in the jam jar.
Yes, I know it's trivial. |

Re: Pet Peeves?
mkv files with srt subs, what's the bloody point in that?
Especially after keeping the all encompassing mkv file and deleting all the unnecessary extra files. |

An mkv file is video file that is supposed to be self contained (include subtitles etc) but some joker had the subs as a separate file, which I deleted thinking as I had an mkv file the subs would be inside the mkv, but they were not, so now I have Chinese movie and no subs. I just have to download again, no biggie, just annoying.
Whichever is quicker. |

Much worse finding a bit of mould growing on top of the jam. Wish they sold it in little jars.
