Certainly I do at pretty much any/every other sort of junction, leaving extra room, allowing them to take two lanes when turning right, giving them time and room to turn left (my right) across my path, etc..

"Not looking and just flooring it" might be how some would describe my technique, though of course I do look!

Thing is, this isn't a small urban roundabout, it's a pretty large one, they all are, with a couple lanes going in.

Unfortunately a night shot so a bit dark, but a damn clean old Peugeot, with a nice dog in the back seat.

If it's a basset hound I would say Columbo but then again you said it was clean.

I think he had the ragtop. Same condition as his coat.

Is that the old 404?

I had a bit of an adventure near Bordeaux in one of those, as a teenager.

Didn't make a note of the model. Looks like it might be.

Well the adventure did involve a lot of wine - we used the car to go and visit the caves of St. Emilion - so I can be forgiven inadequate car model recognition.

I have been offically diagnosed as having man-flu.
Our race weekend was done in monsoon conditions.

Just one more thing.

Yes that is similar to Columbo's car. But as noted his was a ragtop 403.

Just saw a new Juke and it's possibly one of the ugliest new cars out there. It's as if the designer started the front bit and had a stroke before finishing the rear half and they just went with the squiggle.

Because I happened to be talking about this to a colleague today, bit of RS6 drifting round a roundabout.

I'll give it one thing, it doesn't look like every other car on the road.

This is something I have noticed recently. Pretty much all mid size sedans are virtually indistinguishable from one another. It feels like we have finally reached a point where we have found the optimum aero shape and it is just the grill on the front that sets them apart.
