Is there a category in the year end awards for the thread that has gone furthest OT?

I'm not sure this counts as the Law of BE is: "The greater the length of the thread, the higher the probability it will become about sex."

But it started of about sex - cars are penis substitutes are they not?

If Top Gear is to be believed, in Albania your car is your penis.

I must say that my favorite cars of all that I have owned, were the MGA's. Had a '57, a '60 and another for parts. They were just fun to drive.

Out of curiosity I just looked up the local craigslist to see if there were any MGAs. I think this defines the term "project car".

Yikes, no title either!

No, that's a headache car, not a project car . Especially with a missing title.

No title, no VIN. Sounds like a donor car, and an expensive one!

$4,500 That is completely nuts.

The red one in this pic was pretty much like my '60 and the white one an exact example of my '57. The red one in the photo is a 58, for $39,000 and the white one is a 57 for $29,900. Oye. There some others at this link, a few under $10k that would be good starters to make nice. I get misty eyed just thinking about it.

Just everyone needs: a bacon-covered Ford Fiesta.

I must be boring. My favorite car of the ones I owned was a 1983 Peugeot 505 S "Silver Edition." Five speed manual transmission and Michelin TRX tires.

That car drove nice, really nice.
