When I heard about the stairway kerfuffle, I instinctively knew that Trump would focus on that and ignore the geopolitical implications of the entire visit. Kim Kardashian would make for a more thoughtful POTUS.

Well, fancy that! Now I wonder what the Russian equivalent of Wikipedia says about the Western MSM. I don't think it's sensible to put all one's faith in the anti-Russia rhetoric of anti-Russia media organs (Washington Post, BBC, etc). Both sides are spouting propaganda, after all. How do we know which one is telling the truth?

Is the western MSM run by government-controlled entities and, if so, what is your evidence for that? I guess you could argue that the BBC is (although it's editorial policy isn't and has frequently embarrassed the government of that day) but what about US newspapers?
