Well don't all politicians lie? Every leader lies at one time or another. We're not looking for someone like Pope Francis to lead the nation just someone who may lie but not potentially ignorant and misinformed enough to run us into a ditch from which the nuclear option comes into play

Putin is faced with an organization that is close to his borders that was set up mainly to counter Russia, that has got closer and closer to his borders, combined with the prospect of Eurabia in the future- not saying his actions justified but understandable.

Geraldine Ferraro's husband's tax returns were a huge issue and she was the VP pick, not running at the top of the ticket. He resisted but was eventually forced, under duress, to release his returns.

The Clinton's privately, as well as the Clinton Global Initiative, have released their tax returns. The timelines of the donations to CGI have been extensively examined and much scrutiny has been paid to what Hillary was doing at State during the time CGI was accepting funds from foreign powers. This is also how we know so much about how much the Clinton's get paid in speaking fees. This is financial information that, IMO, is our right to know and which has been used against the Clinton's relentlessly and publically.

So, based on the precedent set by the Republican party, not only should we see Donald Trump's tax returns, we should also see Mrs. Trump's tax returns. I actually would like very much to see Mrs.Trump's tax returns as well as his. It's a well known financial/tax scam to hide sketchy financial dealings by putting them in the name of the spouse. She claims to be a businesswoman in her own right so, just like John Zaccaro, we need to see her tax returns.

I realize there are people who don't care about Trump's tax returns. That's fine, they don't have to read them.

The reality of the situation is that we are considering hiring these people to run our country and we have a right to know every little thing about them. Trump chose to leave the private sector and yet he's getting away with deciding what we are permitted to "know" about his financial dealings.

I would not take Clinton's word for anything.

Which is why we need her tax returns. Which we have.

One of those cases where a financial forensic investigation report would be interesting.

No doubt very little has gone directly though her hands.
