I agree and a very anti-republican point of view.

Donald Trump's candidacy is the gift that keeps on giving: Trump belittles McCain’s war service, sparking stern Republican backlash - The Washington Post

I'm just disappointed that he didn't get in sooner for the sake of entertainment.

Rather interesting to see how the other candidates are responding towards the assertion that John McCain is a 'war hero'.

That's was beyond stupid. Trump's mouth seems to have a life of its own! along with his hair.

I'm starting to wonder if Trump had a bet with Herman Cain to see if he could run a more batshit campaign. Right now it looks like Herman owes The Donald a pizza.

Seriously though, the irony is that it will probably be Trump's support of universal healthcare that costs him support in the end.

With all the talk that Trump is a dem plant, I think it's the other way round. Trump is a GOP plant. While we are all laughing at Trump we are forgetting to laugh at the other candidates.

As an aside. Bernie drew a 12000 crowd in phx yesterday. That would be a real 12000 not the imaginary number Trump though he had.

But is that Universal Healthcare at the State level, a la Romney, or Universal Healthcare at the Federal level, a la Obama? As we all know, the former is good and pure while the latter is pure evil ... despite being the same thing ...

Must say, I didn't know 'the hair' supported it in any flavor - care to post a link?

AFAIK he hasn't gone into details, other than "he would make deals with hospitals"

It hasn't got the same sort of coverage as his thoughts on John McCain or Mexicans, but here is one article:

That's actually very impressive.

I wonder if Bernie can sustain the momentum he's building through the run up to the Primaries.

Bush-Walker Dispute Catches Fire Over Iran Nuclear Deal | The Weekly Standard

Speaking to reporters here Saturday after an appearance at the Family Leader Summit, Walker said the next president will need to be prepared to take aggressive action against Iran, “very possibly” including military strikes, on the day he or she is inaugurated
A simple swearing in ceremony used to be enough...

If they were clever, then I would say that Trump is being used to test market some populist ideas to see whether they can help Republicans who are actually serious about winning.

However, it's safer to presume that Trump did this just for the sake of keeping himself in the spotlight and grooming himself for his next TV show, book or whatever else that he has planned. I doubt that he is much concerned about the GOP as a whole; they're just a means to his ends.

Over the weekend my sister-in-law (a psychologist), her husband (an ER doctor) and my wife's oldest friend (a mental-health social worker) together came to the conclusion that the most likely explanation for The Donald's behaviour, especially his doubling-down on his attack on John McCain, is incipient dementia.

So he's literally crazy...

It's hard to know how much of it is an act. To be a celebrity right-winger, it's better to be hyperbolic than reasonable. The kneejerk types are suckers for anger and cheap rhetoric.

As evidenced by Trump's clear lead in the latest polling.
