Simply stated, you can dish it out but can't take it when your bullshit is discredited. You have promised to never return before but after recovering from the fetal position, sucking your thumb, you always return to further educate and enlighten the forum to the right wing American way. If you can't handle it, you shouldn't be prodding clearly, educated people.

Well I am not a Democrat.
But I agree there is an awful lot of crap on this thread.

Watching the debate right now.
On the trade agreement topic after more hot air from Trump about how the Chinese are the biggest abusers of the US, Rand Paul comments:
"Hey Gerard, you may want to mention the fact that China aren't a part of this deal."
*drops mic*

It just tends to be that such people are usually found in the Democratic camp, though there are plenty of unsuitable cnuts in there as well, I'm sure.

Nobody gives a shit about any of that stuff. What most people want is someone who is fit to govern a (supposedly) modern country in the modern world and who isn't a cnut.

I don't think she's a cnut. Bit of a sour-face and another warmonger, maybe, but she's no more or less fit to govern than any of the last few presidents.
She's still a cut above the 'best of the rest', though. If Bernie isn't going to win, I'd be happier with her than Trump or Carson, since the only mildly tolerable GOP candidates seem to have ruled themselves unelectable anyway.

Rand Paul was on point tonight.
Proposing to a room full of conservatives that reducing military spending might actually be a good idea. Shooting down Russian planes could actually... start another war. Man might have played a part in climate change.
He was also literally the only person on stage who actually has a decent understanding on how the economy works.
Rand is scratching a conservative itch I didn't know I had.

What sort of itch would you get from Hillary?

Going by my twitter feed, Trump isn't doing so well tonight.

However, I also don't think any of the other candidates have the capacity to offer a reasonable opinion on the subject. If any of those other candidates got it they would simply hand the economic reigns over to some faceless bureaucrats.
I don't agree with many of his social values, but I do strongly agree with him that we should not allow the NSA to surveil the population in the name of 'National Security'.
Best of a bad bunch, though.

Fiorina rails against socialism and then her solution after "repealing job-killing Obamacare' is to have high risk pools run by... the states. Lol.
For Kasich everything is about O-hi-o. Lol.

Re: 2016 Election
A gold standard would result in a permanent depression because there isn't enough gold in the ground to monetize economic growth in a modern economy. No one who understands economics would argue for a productive country such as the US to base its currency on a commodity that it can't mine for itself, particularly in light of the US' reliance on a trade deficit in order to control inflation. Complete lunacy.

Re: 2016 Election
So have only briefly dived into this thread but if by the remotest chance the Donald gets nominated as the GOP candidate, does anyone know if he has ever claimed British citizenship or if he has renounced it. Given his stance on birthright citizenship, wouldn't this be a issue the media would pick up on and why hasn't already been taken up? Cruz wisely decided to get rid of the issue as soon as he could and renounced his Canadian citizenship.
