I caught the second half only. Clinton was nicely polished. Sanders was enjoyably passionate. Chaffee - please stop now as you are embarrassing yourself and all of us. Web - you guys are right, he'd be a great Republican candidate. O'Malley - seems like a nice guy, but ...
What a lovely, lovely contrast to the Republican debate - discussion of issues rather than planned parenthood, and rounding up illegals.
I thought Hillary was actually OK on marijuana - she really doesn't have to pander on that one, and her argument was sound - let's get some field data from Colorado and Washington before we decide, but let's cut back on arrests for possession. Its probably going to happen in CA in 2016 anyway, and several more states.
I'd be perfectly happy with a Sanders presidency but I don't think he has a hope of getting anything done; the Republicans in congress would shut him down.
I guess Sanders is the 'Rand Paul' of the Dems; bringing up important topics that the population needs to hear, even though they won't ever win.
I flipped over to Fox Noise afterwards, and I heard them say that Hillary was polling as losing against every (major?) Republican candidate ... where did they get that from?!
I also caught an interview with Wasserman-Shultz; I don't see much of her but OMG she was horrible to listen to; is she always like that? She made no effort to answer the question she was given, and was just difficult to watch.

What's happening with formatting on this site? The last few posts I've made don't have any blank lines, and if I go in and try to edit afterwards, it's even worse - paragraphs run together. I'm pretty mainstream with IE11 ...
There should be a blank line above this one.
And again ...

If anyone is curious about Jim Webb's "I killed a guy once" reference. This article has the text from his Navy Cross citation:

Jim Webb’s Crazy Debate Answer About Killing a Guy Has an Even Crazier Backstory

Still doesn't make him a good candidate. I never saw the attraction of military service as a political indicator. Same as being a CEO or neurosurgeon, fine be good in those fields but it has no automatic relation to politics.

From the... err... polls. The only candidate that Clinton does well against on average is Trump.

The funny thing is that if you were not paying attention and just watched the 'debate' you might think a Republican was in the White House.

I realise the air is thin up there, but you really do live in alternate reality don't you.

For the most part all the candidates had a lot of praise for Obama, even down to Clinton's answer to the question about how she's different from Obama "I'm a woman."

I found it a bit odd that he viewed as his "enemy" someone fighting for an independent country against a foreign invader. Of course he was an enemy in terms of the fight on the day, but to personalize it, and as a joke, for a potential Commander in Chief was troublesome.

Huckerbee made a weird comment about not trusting Sanders with money as much as a North Korean chef with a dog. Huckabee's own son tortured and killed a dog (no joke). Is he trying to come to terms with his son being a North Korean chef?

This is one of the reasons I described Webb as "weird". Here's another:

And, no, Corbyn is way to the left of Sanders. And hates the US to boot.
