I heard Ben Carson being interviewed at the Commonwealth Club about a month ago on the radio. While he sounds like a pleasant enough chap, very well intentioned, it became very clear very quickly that he is a total idiot, has a tin ear, and probably incapable of learning how to behave safely in the political sphere. How he could have lasted so long, and got taken seriously in this process, is beyond me.

I think Carson must have been practicing neurosurgery on himself

Carson is insisting on finding reasons for people not to vote for him. It's like he has devoted his entire brain to neurosurgery and it has left no room for common sense, tact, or reasoning.

An overwhelming percentage of Jews have voted Democrat in recent presidential elections. And whilst it may piss off some Republican Jews in the primary, that will likely be outweighed by the folks who think he has a good point. So like many of the comments we see from these blowhards, it will help them in the primary, hinder them in a general election.

I might be wrong - won't be the first time, just ask GiantAxe and the RoadWarrior - but it seems as though almost 100% of the posts have detailed just how totally unqualified and unfit for the Presidency every one of the Republican candidates is. Assuming that to be true...to make this thread even the tiniest bit interesting and not just a pale echo of Move-on.org or The Daily Kos, do any of you see any faults or weaknesses in Hillary, Bernie, Diamond Joe, O'Malley, Webb, Chafee? Anything?

I guess that was the last word on the subject. Have fun Kossaks! No point in any centre-right folks wasting another minute on this thread.

No Democrat has spewed the dumb rhetoric that is coming from the GOP. That doesn't mean that the Dems are superb, but at least they don't go out of their way to sound like bigoted morons.
