Anyway, I watch using FilmOn these days, and unless the American courts get involved (and why should they), I can't see that changing.
they have put in protection measures - you have gone to a hacker to enable you to bypass those measures.
you didnt stumble across it, you purposely acquired and used it

and as to Filmon well they are thieves the same as you are
Filmon and Alki David have been involved in several legal issues over programming including the carriage of major U.S. broadcast channels, such as CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox. This resulted in requiring FilmOn to drop these channels
this is just the same as Dick Turpin riding out as a highwayman to make money by stealing other peoples property

methinks you are just wriggling on the hook.

It is easier to take to court the thief and stop him than to try taking to court thousands of people who are receiving the benefits of the theft.

although by your own admission you are also advertising this product to enable people to get their favourite TV programmes, which will probably make you much easier to prosecute than the people who have just read about it on this forum

Me thinks you are completely GAGA.
Where does it mention UK TV, or any other TV?
Unless the word TV is specifically mentioned, it can't be accused of any wrong doing!!!!!!!!!
Expat Shield is clean, and I won't lose any sleep over recommending it!
Although you would be delighted if I did

GOOD IN'IT,
When SKY goes, there will be loads of criminals here in Espania.
They won't be without their soaps (loads of 'em are at it already, lncluding a certain F.J.)

P.S. My neighbour's a copper and a friend (lovely wife and kids). I'll pop over and hold my hands out for the 'cuffs. You and Fred can be witnesses for the prosecution. Should be a right giggle!

<If you are using VPN to watch television programmes what else are you trying to watch with this software.?>

No I'm not using a VPN. My viewing is via FilmOn or Europa, neither of which require the need to hide my IP

Don´t think the Guardia will be interested in ex-pats watching UK tv when they aren´t interested in the same ex-pats driving British plated cars with no MOT or RFL.

you only have 15mins to edit a post
but I stand by the statement, if you are hiding behind a VPN to trawl the net what is it you are trying to hide??
products such as Norton cost far less than the monthly subscription to a VPN

but as I keep saying the use of a VPN isnt totally anonymous, like ISP's the VPN providers have to keep records of who goes where and when. Therefore it leaves a trail which can easily be made available on demand by the relevent authorities.

If you have a problem with my earlier post then please report it to the moderators using the appropriate button and let them decide, I have nothing to hide, I don't use a VPN.
And I have no intention of withdrawing the comment, especially as I see no reason for you to be come involved at such a late stage.

kind regards

and from what i read is that BBC WORLD money got FROM EUROPE helos keep the price of the TV licence down for UKers ,so can we have OUR money back since we cant watch UK psb and please put up the price of the UK licence so that they can stand on their own to feet and not have us ex-pats having to send them money
´´BBC Worldwide Limited is the wholly owned commercial subsidiary of the British Broadcasting Corporation, formed out of a restructuring of its predecessor BBC Enterprises in 1995. The company exploits BBC brands, sells BBC and other British programming for broadcast abroad with the aim of supplementing the income received by the BBC through the license fee.´´

@ Domino ... 'especially as I see no reason for you to be come involved at such a late stage.'

My apology there I was thinking this was a public forum where members could comment on threads but I realise now of course it's really just your soapbox !

As for the comment well you just told the other poster he was a thief and I was wondering just exactly what other (in your mind) criminal activity you were implying he was engaged in.

the funny thing is using a ´geo-unblocker´ is LEGAL as there is NO LAW IN EUROPE saying you must declare where you are in the 27 ,but there IS a law allowing free movement of goods and services
HOWEVER using FILMON and EUROPA and the others using rediffusion is ILLEGAL
