Last New Year's Eve Costa Esuri Golf Clubhouse put on a great party night. Good food and a very good party atmosphere and not too far from home.

Hi olivia,

To anyone who may read this...
Did you know...that if Boxing Day falls on a Sunday, it isn't celebrated until the Monday? Sunday being Christmas Sunday.

I dont mind paying a bit more as you cant expect the staff to work unless its worth while.but To me the prices they were asking were over the top.if a bar can have a bash with endless amounts of good food and lift home for 5 euro plus 12 euro for the bash why are they charging 70 euro.(the club house)
thats if they did.I only heard they did.

Hi jean&john,
Sorry to hear about your new year's celebration. However, your description did make me smile (karma sent if allowed). Maybe you'll need to wear something red next time for luck?

Take no notice of what beatrice says (grumpy and ill informed as usual), we agree with Yvonne, it was a great night last New Years Eve. It was a good mixture of Brits and Spanish. The Spaniards were probably more formally dressed than the Brits, and looked great in their finery. The meal was fantastic, many of us didn't get to the main course, as we thought the starter WAS the main course, there was so much and such good quality food available. The mixture of live music and disco worked a treat. The price was inclusive of the meal and drinks as well.

If we can find some reasonable flights, we'll be there again this year.

Hi BobD,
Don't tell me there was not a single Scotsman dressed in full attire! Some'll need to rectify this sad state of deshabillee!

"I swear to God" was a hit in the 70's, no?
Also, "I heard it through the Grapevine", 70's or 60's?
Can't think of the spanish pop song... oh! perhaps it was "Eres tu" by Mocedades?
Buenas noches mis esurianos,
