Jackytoo, I have never asked my 'friends' to put up posts. I have never met 90% of the people, who have put up posts, until they came to eat/drink. I have had a lot of custom because of recommendations on this and other forums, for which I am very grateful, but I can tell you honestly people have posted on here because they wanted to and not because I have asked them.

Carol & John, my wife cooks great okra/ladies fingers/bindi, I will get the recipe from her and pm it to you. I would put bindi bhaji on the menu, but I cannot get hold of it fresh from a local supplier yet.

Marisol, I think you are ready for a Madras or maybe even a Vindaloo. Harran, my son, who you met, is a big Real Madrid fan, and I would love to come up for a weekend and try to watch a match and we could go out for a curry in Madrid.

Had a drive around Esuri this afternoon, first time in about 2 months. I don't know if it was because of the recent rain, but it looked very green. So many new villas seem to have popped up, now really looking forward to starting ours. John & Kath, the tiles are on the roof ready to be put down, your place and the one across from you look great.

Marina Esuri - Manzana 7

There is an AGM scheduled on the 1st November for the above manzana and we would like to make sure that we get the administrators to listen to what we want. Hi Carol, we were here late September 2007 for a couple of weeks (before our permanent move) and it was very changeable and cooler. Not sure about the characteristics of other seasons but it is looking Autumnal here with leaves changing colour and yesterday was definitely a duvet, cocoa and good book day. Bryony

I thought I'd ask as I remember you've been living there full time.

I wonder if there are changes in the seasons that local people (perhaps more so those living in towns/cities) might take for granted as it is a regular occurrence? For example, the changing patterns of the countryside along the river Guadiana, the river itself, the wildlife, etc. Not just a change in temperature.

I know that the almond, cherry, and orange groves are full of scent and colour in the Spring. But what is it that makes (or perhaps does not make) Huelva unique from other areas? (This question is open to all.)

Wellcome its been a bit lonely in here as an Albatros buyer. We completed on our phase1 apartment, on the 19th, after delaying for 9 months, untill the Mains electricity was available. The water+electricity were conected within a week and so things are moving quickly for us now.
We were delighted with what we saw at Albatros and more widely on Esuri when there back in March and feel lucky to have chosen this particular development. I'm sure you will feel the same way also when it comes to your turn to complete.
I am very impressed with the company who have arranged our connections and in the next couple of weeks will be able to comment on their cleaning and snagging as well. PM me if you would like their details.
Going out for a few days on the 15th of October, so if there's anything else you would lie to know from site just ask. Looking forward to meeting the neighbours and hopefully putting some faces to the people you read of on this site.

Jon - Fair points. Well made. Although imho the loss would be greater if completion had not happened - hoping to walk away (losing the deposit) and then somehow buy the plot later for less than the current cost to complete does not compute. We are booked to come over and stay at CE during October and hopefully again in November (cant wait).

Thinking about the dead time from boxing day until early January, is there much too do? or are most places closed through the holiday?
