Although unlike you I think it is terrible what muslims are doing in the name of islam in the UK, I actually do not live my life through this forum. As you can see our post count differs rather dramatically. you; joined Aug 2006 Posts: 44,091 me: joined April 2008 Posts: 1,463 What you have described is how yourself would react, because this forum is a lot more imortant to you than it is to me. And although I am against what is happening in the UK, (which BTW I also feel the same way abuot other things that are happeing too) it is no so all consuming as it seems to you. As long as my daughter is not involved with a muslim (of course that would not happen, as she is too smart and is getting married next year) the isues of Islam do not affect me directly. So you unlike you my life does not have to revolve around trying not to offend by speaking out against savage practices, or upsetting some of the more tolerant posters who play such a large part in your life. |

It seems 1/3 of YOUNG UK MUSLIMS believe a Muslim who converts to another religion should be executed.

Beards are not common in my area which is solidly PP (Conservative). With the exception of Rajoy, beards are more a socialist, Marxist thing, among white people anyway.
Fat bellies are everywhere, whether among the Spanish, expats, Conservatives or socialists. |
