You'll have to forgive me, I've been on hiatus. We immigrants are unreliable that way.

Sky news is doing an immigration feature this week, Interesting stuff.

Education stats in the UK will never look good. Thousands joining the system yearly who don't speak a word of Engish. Similar health stats when the UK lets in people with Aids, TB etc, The same people who run down the education and health stats are the ones supporting unlimited immigration:thumbdown:

It must be very frustrating if your own child is held back because of language difficulties, due to newcomers lack of English.

It is a big problem in some places.

Was has TB got to do with falling education levels in the UK.
If the UK is ever going to compete on the world stage and stop importing qualified engineers, doctors etc etc etce etc.
We have to raise the levels across the board.
This is a Britsh Standard that needs raising that everyone should be concerned about.

Importing ???

Then they call themselves British ?

Then you ask about the British standard from the imported persons who then claim to be British ?

Looking at it, and now considering other peoples responses maybe that is the case.

1 in ten now is a immigrant out of work on UK benefits, so I am working to pay for a uninvited guest, I am not happy with the other 9 either, but then the one in ten has a baby or 3, lives at home watching al Jazeera or Polsat and then like 'Me Me' says, when educated brings down the rest of the class as it will never be there number one language and then you can see that 'MeMe and J2' have a really valid point.

When I was at school, I left in 96, this was unseen along with a lot of the other issues that bring bad teaching.

Sometimes I can not understand a doctor, so what is it like for kids with teachers.

Then I guess when you start getting little gettos, or as EMR would prefer 'communities then must be when it gets out of control and then the blame lies at the immigration.

There was no problems like this when I was at school.

You have a point. ...and who do you think suffers the most. The ones in working class areas who are at the bottom of the pile. Not the chattering classes who keep telling us that 500,000 immigrants per year is great! Their kids are sheltered in public schools or good schools in upmarket areas.

Of course the working class are the really the ones that suffer. I have no idea how any teacher could teach a class of pupils of the same age, but such differing language ability.

It must be hard.

No, I just read it as quoted below, pensioners are not on the dole are they ?

'A total of 9.4 per cent of all Jobseekers Allowance claimants this year – 142,300 – were ‘not British born’,
