It appears that he was living in a house eight times larger than others around him, in a modern city near to the capital, and had lived there at least since last August. It also appears that the Americans didn't trust the Pakistanis to do the job of bringing him to justice.
The quick burial at sea was an act of genius, the Indian Ocean is too big to be a shrine for his followers.
Consequences? Highly likely, and anywhere in the world.

Consequences, possible, but not certain. I'm certainly not going to worry about it.

Well his face is not a pretty picture.
Looks like they gave him a good seeing to before putting him out of his misery.

Not really the smartest of moves to have stayed in Pakistan. He should have relocated to Spain under the guise of an estate agent - noone would have bothered him there.

No, at least they were honest enough to admit their orders were to kill him, rather than capture him alive, though as I said it seems they gave him a real good kicking before finishing the job off.
Strange how the huge house where they found him had been purpose built just five years ago, right on the doorstep of the main Pakistani military academy.
Makes you think that the Pakistanis must have at least been aware of his presence if not allowing him protection.
The fact that a new luxury house had no telephone or internet connection, only couriers going in and out, seems to have been a big clue.

I wonder what the repurcussions / ramifications will be for the US storming into another country, supposably without any notification, and conducting a military operation?
Isnt that how the Gulf War started....?
Strange how things go around in circles.
Or was this part of the UN mandate that OKs this...?

I don't believe the official American account of how they disposed of Bin Laden. I reckon the CIA sent him a photo of Beatrice and Eugenie in their wedding finery, and he died of shock.

Apparently only Bin Ladens Mrs offered any serious resistance.
His three main bodyguards, Bin Sleepin, Bin Drinkin and Bin down the chippy, weren't any help at all.
