Re: Arriving without PR card after soft landing

Yes, we both soft landed as it was a joint application, and he was lead. The immigration officer who stamped our COPRs said he would just need an ETA to return. They never mentioned PRTD at all.
He...

Re: Best chance of moving to Canada despite EE freeze?

Hi!

I hope you don't mind me jumping in! We have been waiting on our EE PR application now for over a year with no sign of update. Is IEC a possibility for us? Would it impede our ongoing...

EE alternatives

Due to the seemingly endless uninformed wait we are experiencing for our FSW PR application, I have been looking into any alternative routes which might move us quicker. We really have our heart set...

Re: EE FSW Qs

We applied for EE FSW with a CRS score (I think!) was 482 in December 2020, I think the cut off at that time was 468, so scored have been low enough for your total.
Though we had our invite and...

Re: EE processing

Thanks for your reply- it's good to hear that the alternative worked out for you! The study option is an interesting thought, as both myself and husband work in scientific fields which would...

Re: EE processing

Should we start to look at other entry routes eg. study permit, TWP, PNP? Are any of these moving any quicker? If we were to go down an alternate route, would we sacrifice the investment already into...

So it's been a year since we sent off our EE FWS application- and short of completing our biometrics in April, we've heard nothing. I know Covid has slowed things down, but with the expected...

Re: Any updates from IRCC re PR Applications?

That's good news, I'm excited to hear! Where is the update about not processing FSWs? When I look on the website, it still says 6 months for our application processing time. How many different types...

Re: Delayed processing

Yeah it's a bit depressing that they won't restart until into 2022, but at least I can give up hoping I might hear something any day
Do you know where they were up to with FSW before they...

Re: Delayed processing

It was just FSW. The processing page still has a 6 month estimate on it, but obviously since we are way past that, I'm guessing it'll be 6 months once they actually start processing?

Re: Delayed processing

We applied through express entry. If we need to redo medicals, when should we aim to book these for?
