3.5k nzd shipping which includes insurance and transport in NZ plus all landing fees etc. importantly as they are big they can to the quarantine check and the major structural check in the UK. AFAIK...

Any recommendations for insurance from UK to AU with good cover for possessions. I have computer, camera and a few bits and pieces.

I went with LP. IYM were terrible at replying to emails and sounded a bit unprofessional on the phone. But yes the set up with LP was a bit more complicated.

I guess that's what I wanted to hear. Both a respectable and easy to deal with.

I was thinking IYM but their customer service does not seem as good as LP in case of claim.

Hi everyone,

So robinson are coming in a couple of weeks and are taking my road cycle amongst other stuff.

Is there any advice on preparing the bike for them? I have cleaned it throughly.

Hi all,

Quick question. I am exporting my car and leaving the country in a couple of weeks. My insurance runs until Feb 2015.

AFAIK I cannot get a refund from the insurance company (Elephant)...

Just had a look at smiths. Bosch washer here is about £380 similar model is $1900NZD so quite a price difference. I read on the ENZ forum that Bosch and Miele have a one year international warranty...

Well thanks for the advice MrsFychan when you put it like that makes sense to just buy in NZ. Save my money and buy second hand me thinks.

I'll price that in before I buy but if the savings are significant than you can insure yourself. So would be good to know re VAt

Searching the companies register in NZ it seems like it is wholly owned by a Japanese company with a Kiwi managing director.

Yeah it's a brilliant price. Includes everything up to the point where is has to be complied.

For compliance registration and warrant of fitness (WOF is NZ equivalent of MOT) is about 900-1100NZD...

So a very good friend imported a 05 Vette from LA to Auckland. So a lot newer.

Their issue were the tints (which they let slide in the end) and the LHD low beam lights pointing to the wrong...

Moving soon and trying to decide between the two.

Letton is cheaper but have an excess. IYM is more but without an excess.

I would rather go with IYM but am worried as not many have...
