Yup your right, nobody knows so it's all a long waiting game .... if it's sooner than expected then happy days if not then spose it gives us more time to save $$$ I guess......

Thanks for your replys, I hope it will be as quick as 11 months but electricians are not on the CSL anymore so were a bit buggered. :(

It just be nice to know a realistic time scale rather...

I know this is the million dollar question but any ideas would be great....

We're going on a 175 skilled visa, sent it to DIAC in Aug 09 so still a while to go...........but wanted to...

I think it is a very tough decision but ultimatly it's down to you both to weigh up the pro's and cons............it sounds like you have a very close family so it's going to be difficult.

I send a fair few parcels to Oz and always go with the post office.....
there is parcel force, fedex and all those other sorts of companys that deliver but think they are roughly the same price........

Hey,

We had stop overs in Singapore for a few days you see, hence getting on more than the average amount of planes to Oz.....and all of them were rubbish...

Oh well you live and learn! :rofl:...

On a personal choice I don't think I will ever fly with Emirates again, supposed to be a great airline, absolute joke. We went on 6 or 7 Emirates planes in total to get to oz and all of them where...

Yeah know what you mean! You get on a downer when you have to do this vetassess...all the waiting... but now its over its a massive relief! ...

My agent said we can go on to get the visa now but...

FINALLY PASSED!!!

My OH took his vetassess retake on Tues 14th and we got the results today and he's passed!!! :thumbsup:

Been a long time coming but be well worth it when we get those visas in our hands!! .......

Hey..... we stopped ar the Windmill in Mellor which is about 10 minutes drive from the college.... cost £69 for double room with breakfast but think its £40 for single....if thats too pricy Premier...

My OH failed his test in February and has his test rebooked for July 14th in Blackburn....

We've emailed Vetassess to see what he will actually have to retake and the response we got...
