Yes. You have to register a foreign birth with the Embassy. If that is not done, then after a certain age, 16 I think, they have to go through an application process.

I'd like your source for those numbers...because, frankly, I think you're out to lunch. Voter turnout in many places was so high they had to keep polling stations open past the normal closing time...

I still object to the word "most". Most will certainly take exception if that criticism is posed in an insulting manner. But far more than you realize are willing to talk openly and reasonably...

My two cents. If you truly believe that you will hate the U.S. .... stay where you are. I'm American, living in Canada and moving back to the U.S. later this year. I have one point of view...
