Which passport information did you put into the advance passenger information?
I assume from the posts above it did not matter that on one of the flights the advance passenger information didn't...

Applied in January 2012.
Found out a couple of days ago that our test is in calgary on the 29th November.

dont need meet ups in Calgary. 000's of brits just get out of the house and you will meet brits. try and meet canadians though. we have half and half helps with integration.

They do use rail. We have guy who has just joined us from London. His freight is in medicine hat on a train heading to calgary. the freight transfered from ship to train at montreal.

The thing about calgary is that there a literally thousands of expats. meet ups aren't required as you meet expats everywhere as part of your day to life.

As per above - we waited 5mins and paperwork done in 15mins. whilst completing the paperwork over a 100 people turned up - the immigration officer told us three planes from the far east had landed.

peanuts bar in the Carriage House INN on Macleod Trail and 90th Ave. Has large expat contingent with a good atmosphere. They have setanta ppv and will be open to watch the game live.

with kids, i would recommend a lake community, there are few around the city but there are lot in the deep south east. we lived in midnapore when we arrived and now live in chaparral....
