Re: Tool Charges on the A22 to Faro

Can I just double check? You are safe to join/exit from Junction 17 - the Monte Gordo/Manta Rota exit without being picked up by a camera or having to have a transponder? That if I remember correctly...

Re: House Martins

Now that is a smart piece of thinking and it does sound a cost effective and simple solution. It makes sense so I will run that by the OH. I am also going to try hairspray - they don't like sticky...

Re: House Martins

Sounds like a good idea but I am still not sure it would work for us as I have already raised it and the balcony is too large for it not to be noticed. I expect it will be an expensive solution also...

Re: House Martins

I would be interested in the screen although I have been told our condo does not allow mosquito screens across the balcony - tempted to ignore it as i have not seen it in writing. Let me know if you...

House Martins

Ever since we bought our place we have been plagued with housemartins. We know they are protected and nests cannot be removed during the breeding season so we have taken great pains to try and stop...

Re: Some advice on Fiscal Representation

My rep does nothing other than pay the bill which I paid myself this year anyway. If I thought he would sort out the problems with our apartment with the builder it might be worth it but the company...

Re: Some advice on Fiscal Representation

Sorry but I don't understand what you are saying here. I don't wish to change my lawyer who does not do the fiscal representation. That is done by another company who I do want to change. Surely I...

Re: Some advice on Fiscal Representation

Question is whether it is legal or risky to do without? I had no trouble paying my bill at the Camara and I asked about re-arranging for the bill to come directly to my home address in Portugal and...

Re: Some advice on Fiscal Representation

Hi - I have checked this company's website and it is indeed very cheap - just what we want to cover us as we literally have one bill to pay each year, no rental or tax issues as we don't rent out so...

Some advice on Fiscal Representation

When we completed on our apartment two years ago our solicitor set us up with a fiscal rep who we think is expensive for what he has to do - 300 euros a year to pay one bill. We are retired and spend...

Re: alternative travel

I just wonder if you could try an inter rail pass - they do them for seniors and from what I can see that might be your cheapest way to get him down/back. Try this website...
