We moved to Queensland in 2008, stayed for a year and moved back to UK. Hoping to move back when i finish my studies in 4 years. I know it's a long time away, but that's our plan.

We lived in Oz for a year and have now been back in the UK for a year, the weather has been in the high 20's, so hotter than most...

What about the ielts test, that would give you the extra points you would need, i think you need to score 7.5's to get the points, it might be worth it.

Thanks for all your replies, i'm glad we can take it back to UK. Didn't want to have to sell this one cheap and then buy new in UK and it cost a fortune.

They do use the cieling fans in my daughters classroom sometimes but not always, don't know why, but think they definitly should if there's no air con.

We haven't got used to the heat properly...

Just having air con on for the rest of the summer that the children are at school would be nice though, imo it is necessary.
