No,dad was born in Ireland,mum was born in the UK.They met in the UK.

Very interesting Thread.It just shows how easily things can go wrong.
The student visa seems to be a very risky and confusing way to get to Oz.
So many rules and the cost factor for some of these...

I did look at plumbing courses in Oz,but I didn't find many.
I found one in Melbourne,but I wasn't sure if this is the right one to go...

Yeah I had a look into it,and stopped when I saw the course is nearly $30,000

I may of read it wrong,but I think the jist of it is a two year course in Perth doing Bricklaying,plastering,roofing...

yeah ali I'd love to do it all again.But I've already been over their just under two years then went over to Nz for another year.
