Please could anyone give me any information on the south eastern side of Adelaide. We are emigrating in June and looking at Sinclair, coromandel valley,Crafers areas just trying to get as much info as possible. I believe they will be about 3/4 hour journey to keswick rail terminal (job).
Both positive and negative information will be of help and any information on schooling, rental prices and house prices will be a bonus.
many thanks andy

Hi Andy,I've spent a bit of time on Adelaide hills and have a friend of mine who lives up their. It really is amazing up on the hills, very friendly people, good pubs, very good local vinyards.
There is also a place called Hahndoff,I think thats how it's pronounced which is a lovley area. They changed the name of this German town when the War was going on,and it's now back to it's original name.
It's a bit of a journey going to and from the city centre about a 40 minute journey for me,and your ears start popping when you head up their!
I think those guys that live up their rely on rain water, well the chap that I stayed with did,so no long showers or baths!
Very nice area though and a lot like the countryside in the UK in many ways.
I stayed in Macclesfield near Echunga.Very good cheap wine up their. You can also drink West end Draught on tap.
